About The Owners - Steve Gaulke ’s career started in the carpentry business as a laborer for a residential framing contractor in 1987. His job descriptions have included laborer, carpenter, lead carpenter, customer service, trim carpenter, superintendent to founder and owner of Taurus Construction. Twelve years later Steve’s leadership and commitment have brought Taurus Construction to the successful business of today.

As his wife and partner, Julie Gaulke completes the management team. Julie’s project management and communication skills will keep you informed during your project, her behind-the-scene expertise is crucial to achieving the goal of 100% customer satisfaction.

Steve and Julie have three children - Heather (20), Stuart (17) and Emma (15). One of the many benefits of owning their own business is time to devote to their family. From business owners, to coaches, to youth baseball director, Steve and Julie are committed to their family and giving back to their community.
